Boris Bogatin is the Founder and Chief Strategy Officer of Siden (siden.io). Siden is a cloud IaaS company that enables wireless operators to materially expand their RAN capacity for Home Internet using Siden's downstream distributed CDN platform, and scale wireless Home Internet to hundreds of millions of users globally. Boris’s background spans cloud, CDN, and wireless sectors. As an entrepreneur, Boris founded NearVerse to build a mobile CDN, helped start and grow MSV into two multi-billion US wireless companies today known as Ligado and Dish’s AWS-4 spectrum, and helped develop Cidera as a first streaming media CDN. As an investor, Boris most recently operated Hilltop Management, where he was a Special Advisor to Columbia Capital and Madison Dearborn Partners, and a Venture Partner at Lumia Capital. Boris is a graduate of the Management & Technology Program at the University of Pennsylvania with degrees from the Wharton School and the School of Engineering and holds 7 patents in content distribution and wireless networking.
