Muhammad Rehman is a digital transformation leader who has deep knowledge and experience across Mobile, Security, Analytics, Machine Learning, Cloud and Edge Computing technologies. He is currently working as a Vice President, Product Management - Media Platform at Verizon Inc. In his current role, Muhammad is responsible for product portfolio consists of Content Delivery, Video Delivery, Cloud Security and Edge Computing products. Since joining the company, his team has increased 50% global CDN capacity, launched new security products and optimized CDN capabilities to improve overall video streaming experience across mobile, Web and set top boxes. Muhammad had also established strategic partnerships with companies in the Video and CDN ecosystem to support additional video players, recommendation systems and Cloud Security capabilities for Verizon Media Platform customers. Muhammad is part of Verizon 5G working group, responsible for delivering next generation platforms and services powered by Verizon 5G Edge and CDN Edge Compute based technologies. He is thrilled about the impact that 5G, Multi-Access Edge Computing (MEC) and CDN Edge Computing services will have on both consumers and enterprise companies.
