Brett Mertens has more than 20 years of experience in product management, application/service development and support, with a focus on video streaming and content delivery networks. He recently joined Qwilt as a Product Manager helping to bring new product offerings to service providers and content publishers. Before joining Qwilt he served for 5 years as a Director of Product Manager for Limelight’s Core Technologies team. His responsibilities spanned across Limelight’s caching, logging, and DNS systems. Prior to joining Limelight, Brett served for 4 years as a Senior Product Manager at Internap. His responsibilities included the Internap CDN, MIRO IP platform and Managed DNS product. Brett also previously served as Director of North American Infrastructure Operations at Kit Digital, where he oversaw an average of 4500 live-streaming events per month.
